About Ann Legunn

Ann Legunn has over 40-years of experience in professional theater and puppetry.

During that time, she has developed a wide range of educational and instructional skills. These include:

• Facilitating group activities and projects—using a working knowledge of group dynamics—to help people to make their own artistic discoveries

• Conducting workshops for teachers and students in a variety of crafts and skills:

– Visual arts—painting, drawing, woodworking, puppet making

– Sculpture—molds and casting

– Costuming—designing, sewing, pattern making, needle crafts

– Creative Dramatics—playwriting, improvisation, movement, music, dance, mime.

Ann’s theater skills comes from extensive and varied performance experiences:

• Artistic Director of the Puppetree, Inc.:

– Created and directed a shadow puppet play of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

– Artist-in-Residence at a variety of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine public schools, parks and recreation departments, and community theaters

• Performer in Carol Langstaff’s Flock Dance Company, Star Mountain VT

• Performer at RiverFest and other local cultural events
